Handling and Lifting

Installing heavy and bulky parts

Jane Candy
"Lead Coder"
Our assembly teams are trained in the handling of heavy and bulky parts. They are experienced in the use of the appropriate equipment for work where access is difficult and time limited. We manage the access and lifting equipment, complying with safety regulations, sometimes in cooperation with other qualified providers. These operations, prepared and planned by our project leaders, are supervised in the field by a works supervisor who liaises with your representatives and with other companies involved in the operations.
On-site fabrication

Special organization for assembly on site

For bulky parts and where access is limited, in order to reduce transport costs we can make the parts in our factory then assemble them directly on site using our teams of fabricators. We adapt our handling and fabrication equipment to the environment of the site concerned. Before the parts are delivered separately, we can perform a trial assembly for initial acceptance purposes. This way of working also allows you to follow the progress of our work, and observe our techniques and the quality of the final assembly.
Maintenance & Repairs

Keeping your production equipment in good order

We offer our expertise in the maintenance of your production tools. We can detect any defects and analyse the root causes so as to provide a complete diagnosis and propose the most economic and long-lasting repair solution. For partial renovation or retrofitting, such as replacing parts of the vats, modifying the stirring mechanism, changing the endless screw or speed-reducing gear, we take care to keep downtime to a minimum by providing sufficient personnel and equipment, and conducting the work according to procedures previously validated by you.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Fast response close at hand

Jane Candy
"Lead Coder"
We can provide at short notice emergency maintenance or repair services, including greasing, adjustments and putting your equipment back in service. Our welders, fabricators and mechanics can be seconded to join your own maintenance teams during scheduled downtimes. Our operators will bring the appropriate tools and if necessary, components that have been prepared at our factory. We also offer our assistance in setting up preventive maintenance plans, always with a view to reducing your overheads.
Environmental Quality and Safety

Global Quality Approach

To meet the quality requirements of our customers, we at Métal Performances conduct regular inspections (visual, penetrant, and pressure testing) which will be performed by the worksite supervisor, with a final inspection by the project manager in the presence of the customer. Safety rules and instructions are established in an accident prevention plan which is prepared and defined with the customer prior to commencing any work. Handling operations are performed by operators who have received prior training in using handling machinery and vehicles (CACES). Our investment in a fleet of recent utility vehicles also demonstrates our commitment to the reduction of our impact on the environment.
